| so this past weekend i've been suffering from major PCDCS- Post CDC Syndrome. it's really hard get back into the swing of things and not think about camp. even though my body's exhausted i wish i was on the island. camp like always was an absolute blast. this year i had dinghy, the youngest cabin which are the 7 y.o. it was their first year at camp. they were super cute, hilarious, and totally obsessed with the show high school musical. the camp romances where absolutely adorable. i am thinking of doing both sessions next year and already counting the days.
here are some funny moments from camp:
"hey izzy, zoe got a napkin flower from zach, i think he wants to marry her."

| i haven't posted in awhile, but i think today is a good day to post again.
i'm 22 and it's my birthday.
i feel old and young at the same time. i explain myself in a convo with lil bro peter:

looking back at this past year things have seriously been intense and interesting. i don't know how i do it sometimes. i am looking forward to this year of being 22 though.

| happy friday the 13th! i didn't know it was today until this evening. things have been busy as usual. i've been continuously sick since my last post. the worst was last friday when i had a temperature. i felt really crappy. i soon got over it and now i'm just congested.
secret week has been a lot of fun. messing with the pledges and especially my new lil bros. i think each term i've gotten a lil bro things have been easier in planning and making gifts. i'm really excited this sunday. i have a feeling that both my lils don't know who i am.
the poster JM and i have been working on is finally finished. we turned it this past thursday. i'm really exited and nervous for URC (Undergraduate Research Conference). it's in one week. today we had a run through on presenting our poster. i think JM and i have everything down, we just need to spend time to practice. i can't believe my name is in the URC program, it's really exciting to see your name on paper..i can't wait for my own copy :]

| the majority of my time this past week has been working on stuff for URC. and a majority of my time for the next two and a half weeks will be devoted to URC. it keeps me really busy, but i like it. so far we spent time collecting and analyzing data, inter rater reliability, write ups, and coding videos. things are not going to slow down anytime soon or at least till the event is over. i have meetings everyday this week with JM and melissa to work on URC stuff. its hard trying to find times all three of us can meet since our schedules are so different, but so far things are working out. i'm kinda unsure how things will play out next week becasuse of secret week but i know it is going to be intense. i am glad that this workload is before midterms so it should be manageable.
anywho the weekend was fun. went to the oakland a's game with my lil ben and the lova. the last time i've been to a baseball was in grade school. i don't really follow sports or play, but at least we won :]

| first day of spring quarter was so much fun:
- orientation for HDE 140L: i get to work with 3 year olds twice a week. although the lab is 4 hours long and waking up at 8am is no piece of cake, i can tell i'm going to have a lots of fun. field trips to the fire station and snack time!
- UWP 104D: writing in education...so far it seems okie.
- met with L&S advisor, which was reassuring.
- did errands in downtown davis. stopped by the farmer's market which i haven't been to in ages.
- took a fatty nap which was really needed
- headed to the library to start working on stuff for URC. yup the cool kids go to the library on the first day of the quarter. it was so deserted, hehe
- later that evening met up with JM and melissa to work on some more research stuff at the house..we were on campus till 10:45 pm..gah!
- then we headed to sophia's for drinks followed by a trip to jack in the box :]
And so I walk the web in search of love,
But always seem to end up stuck.
